My Personal Review of Realtor Heather Spencer

This website reflects my personal experience working with Realtor Heather Spencer from The Nav Agency who served as the listing agent for two of my properties Dallas Fort Worth area. Unfortunately, my experience with Realtor Heather Spencer was deeply disappointing and stressful.

ZERO

That’s the number of stars I would give Realtor Heather Spencer and The Nav Agency based on my personal experience.

While I initially expected a professional and proactive approach, I encountered several issues that in my opinion caused significant financial and emotional stress.

Here are the issues I personally experienced with Realtor Heather Spencer and The Nav Agency:

  1. Inconsistencies in claimed experience.
Her statements regarding work with high-end homes such as mine did not appear to reflect reality.
  2. Unverifiable marketing claims.
Realtor Heather Spencerdescribed a broad client base and aggressive marketing efforts, but the results did not align with those expectations in my case.
  3. Unclear and inconsistent communication.
I often found communication frustrating, and the lack of transparency made it difficult for me to trust the process.
  4. Potential conflicts of interest.
I was concerned at times that her actions might have been motivated by an attempt to benefit from both sides of the transaction. From my perspective, this was in opposition to my interests as the seller. As evidenced in my case, there was only one showing across two properties over a two-month periodwhile similar homes in the area were actively being sold.
  5. Failure to generate genuine buyer interest
As mentioned earlier, there was only one showing across two properties over a two-month period while similar homes in the area were actively being sold. Based on that, I did not believe there was a serious effort to generate or follow through on real buyer interest.
  6. Delays in releasing my listings.
After I chose to move on, I encountered significant resistance and delays in having my listings removed. From my standpoint, this made an already difficult situation worse.
  7. Instead of resolving the matter so both parties could move on, Realtor Heather Spencer made the situation worse by changing the listing status to “withdrawn.” Withdrawn listings are not visible to the public but still prevent the seller from relisting with another agent. As a result, my properties were effectively stuck—causing me significant stress and financial concern.
  8. I ultimately received a message from someone in her agency that, to me, felt more like a legal warning than an effort to resolve the issue.
My Conclusion

In my opinion, if you’re looking for a realtor who prioritizes your interests, communicates transparently, and manages your property with professionalism—especially in the high-end market—you may want to explore other options. Based on my experience, I would not personally recommend Realtor Heather Spencer and The Nav Agency to those seeking responsiveness, integrity, and truly client-focused service.

Note

This site is under construction. I intend to add documents that support my experience, including correspondence and contracts. I am currently working with my attorney to pursue legal remedies, including a court injunction to formally release my listings. Unfortunately, this is what the situation has come to—and it’s something I hope others can avoid.

Due to the seriousness of my experience with Realtor Heather Spencer and The Nav Agency—and despite multiple good-faith attempts to end the relationship professionally and without escalation—I was left with no alternative but to pursue legal action. Their continued unwillingness to release my listings and cooperate in even the most basic ways suggested a deliberate intent to cause further financial and emotional harm. The following image is a portion of the lawsuit that has now been formally filed with the court.
